The Centre of Technological Innovation in Static Converters and Drives (CITCEA) belongs to the Politechnical University of Catalonia (UPC) and it is specialized in electrical and electronic equipment mechatronical applications, control of electrical machines, renewable energy and management of power systems.
CITCEA also develops an intense activity in education addressed to particulars and companies with the Mechatronics master degree, professional courses, postdegree courses, education in accordance with the companies and on-line education.
The CITCEA consists of a highly qualified technical team. It belongs to the Technological Innovations Network (XIT) of the CIDEM of the Government of Catalonia. It collaborates with other centers of the network, forming multidisciplinary teams, to cover all the needs of Research and Development (R+D) of the companies.
